This is a Witness-Report of the Rainbow Party I, held somewhere in 1994, it was organised by Radwar (!), Tristar, Red Sector Inc., Fairlight and Spreadpoint!

My Name is Midfit/former TRSI/former ANTHROX... Most may know
me from the Super Nintendo for my trainers and some freaks may
know me from the C64! Anyway, I'd like to report over this party,
one of the last real parties......
We all know that the today's scene is sucking like hell, and that
the nowadays "ELITE" is just not more than shit... But
anyway here we go...
At the time of this party I was still active on the C64, in the group VISION, a danish Crackinggroup... I got news of the party from the W.O.C just some weeks before the Rainbow Party and from a Invition Demo spread by RED SECTOR C64 DIVISION! We drove to the party, we got into Saturday's traffic chaos and missed the orginal Radwar Soccer Match... Of cause the famous GUENNI was present, he was the first person I spotted on the party... What I wanted to say!? RIght! We arrived at the Disco "CHEZ RENZO" and it wasn't open.. The offical Opening was said to be at 7.00pm and it were still 4.00pm! Nothing to care about, we spotted some C64 freaks .. I spoke to some of my contacts and we moved to some pubs in the near of the partyplace to take some drinks to waste time till the offical beginning of the RAINBOW...
Later on, approx. 30mins before the offical Opening of the party we came back from those pubs and spotted a bunch of Humans standing in front of the Opening and some Partyorganizers trying to banning them to press open the front doors!
My friends and me decided to go away from those human-masses to survive the upcoming party.. it was really annoying, i even didn't spot any scenefolks in that masses.. to be correct.. it seemed that this bunch of apes trying to press the party-organizers to 7th heaven were lamers... but nothing more to add...
Suddenly something happened... Somebody was throwing a SPREADPOINT BANNER in the Air, fetched it again and holded it high in the Air with the words:"WE RULE!!!"
Somebody
was screaming back:"YOU SUCK!!!"... You know the normal
scenestuff ... After this another thing happened.. With the Arrival
of RED SECTOR C64, the #1 in C64 Biz at this tyme (DOMINATING
SINCE 1992!), decided to say goodbye to the C64 scene at the RAINBOW,
a big dude wearing a Santa Claus Hat and having 2 girlies in his
arms was making his Walk to the Frontdoor... Some of the dudes
wearing TRSI Shirts were walking one Step back to make a way for
this dude.... Somebody was calling:"IRRRRAAAATTTTAAA!"
and everything was clear.. This dude must have been IRATA/TRSI
(...at this time I didn't know him.. today he's one of my best
friends in the Scene! Hi DIRKY!:-)... Later I spotted JIHAD/ex.ACTION
which was at the party together with two of my groupfellas (=Curlin
+ Peacemaker!), which I wanted to meet at the party (...which
was the funniest thing ever happened! I search both for hours
and hours....!) ...Well we stood in a Corner and meet many people...
to say some names, here we go... (mostly C64 Dudes... But maybe
you know them anyway, if you're an AMIGA/PC/CONSOLE Dude!)
JACK ALIEN, DEFF, SPLATTERHEAD, TDK/ex.DOM, JIHAD/ex.ARCADE, MARC/AFL,
MAX/AFL, STING/ex.PARAMOUNT/ex.MCG, MANIAC/ex.PARAMOUNT, RRR/OXYRON,
RAMIREZ, TOXYC, EDDIE, L.A.STYLE, AIRWOLF(SCHWERWOLF!), TOM TAYLOR/ex.PARAMOUNT,
FREESTYLE/AVT, ANO/PADUA, PSYCHOBILLY/ex.RSI, MR.PRESIDENT/ex.RSI,
SNACKY/RAZOR1911 (former GENESIS PROJECT C64), THERMO/ex.RSI,
SCORPION/F4CG, LEEWAY, CHR/ex.AFL and other Heros... Anyway the
Rainbow Party was very important for the C64 Scene today... (...if
there still is one! I think RSI was the last MAJORGROUP!) BECAUSE:
In my eyes it was the last time C64 was kicking, the same month there were approx. 10-15 games released! A real mad Cracking Month!
Anyway
the Disco was open, and after I was nearly pushed to a young Death,
I got a blue stamp (...the RADWAR/WEST3 Sign!) on my hands and
could go into the Inner Circle of the Disco, where I firstly spotted
MWS/RWE 1941 behind the DJ Throne together with his Girlfriend
(???/!!!).. But as I really don't like to be pushed into a thunfish-can
I left the Disc for outside, where I got some Chats with some
C64 folks... of cause still searching for Curlin+Peacemaker...
which walked just 10-15 times rightwards besides me.. But as I
didn't knew them... I didn't spot them! Grin... ;-)
Later I watched the Demo Competion, which was the worst Event
of the Day.. Not because of the Organizers... NO! God seemed to
take his hand to destroy it... You know.. Father Abraham always
likes to cut off Sounds or taking away the Pictures.. It's almost
the same shit on every party ... I guess only 3 C64 Demos were
released... One of them was oki, the rest was more or less said..
NOTHING! (...I guess my friends in PADUA made the HIT! Well deserved!)
PC Demos? I saw one by TRSI, the FC one and 11+ others... But
as I wasn't very interessted at this time in the 16Bit+ Stuff
I cared NADA about them... AMIGA DEMOS? YEAH! Also the C64's "BIG"
(AEHM!) Brother was present.. But due to the fact that I stood
outthere to see the major war of the Scene (2 Crackers slagging
on each other! NO NAMES!) , I missed this VERY IMPORTANT Challenge
of Coder Spirits! Finally I meet with Curlin+Peacemaker... Wanna
know? After we meet, we went drinking some beers.. Somewhere middle
in the night, my fella PEACEMAKER was thrown out of the partyplace
for being so boozed, that he couldn't booze anylonger ;-) ...
But the Party was rescued.. MWS, ARND and some other RADBEERS
came up for the C64 SCENE TRIVIA... Of cause RSI was winning some
prices.. And even my friend TOXYC won a Radbeer-Cap for answering
a question to ARND+MWS/RADBEER1941! Later a Karaoke-Contest was
setup by MWS, IRATA, FLYNN etc. And finally MWS was giving us
GUENNI's favourite children song: DA DIDEL DUM ... DER KOMMISAR,DER
GEHT UM .... Just somebit better was the "GIB GAS! - ...WILL
SPASS!" Song starring IRATA/TRSI, setting up the first links
to TRSI RECORDZ! (EHEHEHEH!--- KREISCH ES RAUS,DIRK! HEHEHE...
) Somebody decided to end up this mess :-) and loaded some Modtunes
on AMIGA ---- The Music Compo was about to begin... Most people
were already sleeping, so I can't say who had won, as I was walking
around in HEINSBERG-CITY to avoid sleeping.. In the morning we
got something to eat and very important : COFFEE! THANX ARND +
MWS for organize THIS! I had some chats with some of the AVT folks
and others... Later on we left the partyplace, but last but not
least I said GOODBYE to my FELLA SPLATTERHEAD!
PS: THERE WAS NO SIGHT OF PEACEMAKER! MAYBE TOOOOOO MUCH BEER!? ;-)
All in all the RAINBOW was nice.. Many old dudes claimed that there were too less OLD FOLKS... Somebody even complained that people like JEFF SMART, 1001 CREW etc. were not present... But maybe also this dudes should consider that all this dudes are already 100% out of Business for ages.. And many of them are already 30+ Years old.. It's like in the Soccerbiz! There is an Age to end with!
Anyway not spotted by most, but there, was the old legendary Mr.Zeropage , some old 711 Dudes... Also Manfred Trenz was present... SO WHAT? OOPS! There was one who don't know MZP! WOOPS!
